Plant Based Torchin’ Sausage
A spicy vegan sausage that tastes better than the real thing? You might think, sure…when pigs have wings. But we did it with meticulously sourced plant-based ingredients! Our chef turned up the temp just enough to give them a little blast of heat, so it’s torchin’ not scorchin’ Whether on a bun, on top your pizza, or in your favorite pasta dish, one bite will tell you that Taste Is Everything.
INGREDIENTS: WATER PEA PROTEIN CONCENTRATE CHICKPEA POWDER, CANOVA OIL, PEA PROTEIN ISOLATE, YEAST EXTRACT, METHYLCELLULOSE, 2% OR LESS OF: CULTURED DEXTROSE, SPICES, PAPRIKA (ADDED FOR COLOR), GARLIC, SUNFLOWER OIL, ONION, NATURAL FLAVORS, SUGAR, SALT, MALTODEXTRIN, GUM ARABIC
STOVE TOP: Add sausage links and 1/4 cup of water and a dash of oil to a large sauté pan. Heat over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees, turning occasionally. Drain water; brown 2 minutes.
GRILL: Grill sausage links covered on greased grill over med-low heat 8-10 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, turning frequently for even browning.
